The Psonic-S1 is a clamp-on type ultrasonic flowmeter developed for liquid measurement. It has sensors laid on the outside of the pipe to accept incoming ultrasonic waves.
It calculates the flowrate by measuring the propagation time of ultrasonic wave from the fact that the propagation time of ultrasonic pulse changes with the velocity of the liquid.
The ultrasonic flowmeter can measure a variety of fluids including industrial water, agricultural water, wastewater, seawater, purified water, and water solution.
