OVAL acquired and has maintained certification of international quality assurance standard ISO 9001 for the main factory, Yokohama Operations Center, since 1994 and for the Tokyo Headquarters since 2006.
We will continue to work on the continuous improvement of our quality management system to further strengthen our quality assurance system and improve customer satisfaction.
The scope of certification is Tokyo Headquarters and Yokohama office, and the management system is operated as a company-wide system.

A quality management system (ISO 9001) is designed to improve the quality of products and services by maintaining and improving business processes such as manufacturing and service delivery. It is a generic term for a set of standards developed to provide the basic framework for effective quality management system operation. It is the most widely used international standard providing a framework for quality management systems, and ISO 9001:2015 was published in September 2015.
In order to fulfill our corporate social responsibility and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society, we have formulated an environmental management strategy as one of our management strategies. To achieve this, we have established an environmental management system based on the international standard ISO 14001 and have been promoting environmental conservation activities.

ISO 14001 is an international standard for environmental management systems. It provides a framework for organizations to protect the environment and respond to changing environmental conditions, while balancing socioeconomic needs.
We obtained the information security management system standard ISO27001 certification in 2018. All of our employees are aware of our information security policy, and we are committed to maintaining and improving our information security management, so that we can further enhance the trust of our customers.

The ISMS (ISO 27001) standard covers specific controls, or procedures, to ensure information security. The goal is to maintain information security through management recycling, which involves developing a management plan, allocating the necessary resources, and monitoring and objectively reviewing operations. The implementation standard, ISO 17799:2000, was revised in June 2005 as the international standard ISO 17799:2005 and integrated into the ISO 27000 series as ISO 27002.
In September 2006, we obtained registration based on the Registration System for Calibration Service Providers under the Measurement Law of Japan. JCSS plays a very important role in supporting the reliability of various test and calibration results from the very core by ensuring the traceability of reliable measurements to the national measurement standards through the registration of the technical capabilities of calibration.

The Japan Calibration Service System (JCSS) is a registration system of calibration service providers based on the Measurement Law of Japan, in which calibration service providers are registered under the name of the President of the National Institute of Technology and Evaluation (NITE) to certify that they have the technical capability to perform calibration in accordance with the laws and regulations related to the Measurement Law, as well as the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 (JIS Q 17025).
